Summer Programs

Summer Training Program:
Ages 12 & Up

For dancers with a strong technical foundation and performance experience.
This division offers an intensive curriculum emphasizing precision, musicality, and artistry. Students will deepen their understanding of stylistic differences among the Russian, Cuban, and American traditions and learn to interpret repertoire with a richer awareness of its history and artistic intent.

Junior Summer Training Program: Ages 7 – 12

For dancers who are developing strength, coordination, and stylistic awareness. This division focuses on refining technique, building consistency, and introducing the defining characteristics of each style. Students will gain the tools to adapt and apply foundational principles across different stylistic approaches.

Summer Open Classes: Ballet & Body Conditioning – Ages 13 & Up

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Open Ballet Classes are available for students ages 13 to adult. “Drop in” for a class, revisit your favorite style, or try something new!

Body Conditioning is a limited time offering suitable for ages 13 to adult. Build strength, endurance, and confidence in this dynamic class.

Summer Open Classes: Acro – Ages 10 & Up

This open class is designed for dancers ages 10 and up who want to develop acrobatic skills in a fun, supportive environment.  Students will work on gymnastic based movements and progressions tailored to their individual experience level.

Summer Open Classes – Ages 3 – 5

Join us this summer for creative movement, ballet basics, and plenty of fun! Our Discovery, Pre-Ballet, and Primary drop-in classes offer a flexible way for young dancers to stay active and engaged throughout the summer, with no weekly commitment required.

Ballet Explorer Camp

Let your little one embark on a week of movement, creativity, and imagination! This fun-filled camp introduces young dancers to the world of ballet through engaging classes, themed crafts, and exciting stories. Each day builds coordination, discipline, and confidence in a joyful, nurturing environment. The week concludes with a delightful in-studio presentation, where campers share all they’ve discovered and learned.

DANCE POWER Summer Program

Dancers will start their day with a ballet class taught by a PBS Faculty member, learn choreography, and stretch and condition every day. Additional styles offered and taught by a DANCE POWER Teaching Artist: hip hop, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary.

Latin America Workshop & Audition Tour

The “Latin American Workshop/Audition Tour” consists of an extension of the American Repertory Ballet/Princeton Ballet School tour of workshops and auditions that are successfully held annually in Europe and Asia (Italy and Japan).
