Children’s Division
Balanced with creative movement and musical improvisation, children are introduced to the fundamentals of classical ballet technique and proper body alignment, helping them develop safe and healthy habits for future training.
Princeton Ballet School’s Children’s Division includes students ages 2.5 through 7 (Hand-in-Hand through Foundation B). This division provides an age-appropriate and engaging introduction to dance, supporting coordination, musicality, confidence, and foundational technical development in a nurturing environment.
Princeton Ballet School students may have the opportunity to perform alongside the professional artists of American Repertory Ballet in productions such as The Nutcracker. Participation in The Nutcracker is by audition for dancers in Foundation A and Foundation B.
The Princeton Ballet School Spring Performance is open to all Foundation A and Foundation B dancers and does not require an audition, offering a joyful and inclusive opportunity for all eligible students to experience performing on stage.
