Classes & Registration
Open Classes
Ballet Open Classes:
Anyone ages 13 to 103 can drop-in to an Open Class; no prior dance experience required. And there is no commitment, so you can come and go as your schedule allows. Whether you’re returning to a favorite style or discovering something new, choose from Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, or Yoga. Each class is led by knowledgeable, charismatic, and caring teachers who are excited to help you explore movement in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Ballet classes are accompanied by live music, played in real time by skilled accompanists, creating a rich and dynamic experience. With multiple levels available in ballet, dancers of all backgrounds can find their place.
Body Conditioning Open Classes:
For a limited time this summer, we will be offering Open Body Conditioning Classes taught by our special guest teacher, Vicente Hernandez, former olympic gymnast and founder of Body Conditioning for the Cuban National Ballet School. Build strength, flexibility, endurance, and confidence in this dynamic full-body conditioning class. Designed for dancers and non-dancers alike, this class focuses on injury prevention, core strength, muscle tone, posture, balance, and flexibility through exercises inspired by ballet and athletic training. Whether you are looking to enhance your dance technique or develop the beautiful, strong physique associated with dancers, this class provides a fun, effective and engaging workout for all fitness levels.
Students can register ahead of time via their Jackrabbit account or on the same day by visiting the front desk (cash payments; exact change only, $20).
Dress Code: Comfortable clothes you’re able to move in, socks or ballet slippers acceptable.
