Summer Courses for Children
Princeton Ballet School offers fun and rewarding Children’s Summer Courses, beginning with Hand-in-Hand classes for 3-year-olds to explore the world of rhythm and dance. All levels of classes for children ages 4-12 are offered throughout the Summer!
The dancer must have turned the appropriate age by June 1, 2024.
HAND-IN-HAND : For the 3-year-old dancer and their responsible adult. The class will focus on discovering the world of rhythm and dance. Children must be accompanied by a participating parent or caregiver.
BEGINNING DANCE: For the 4-year-old student. A pre-ballet class which focuses on exploring the world of dance through movement and rhythm, games and stories.
CHILDREN’S BALLET 1 + 2: For the 5- to 7-year-old beginner and 8- to 12-year-old beginner. An introduction to basic ballet technique through exploring movement and music. (No experience necessary)
CHILDREN’S BALLET 3: For the 7- to 10-year-old student with one or more years of ballet training.
(Princeton Ballet School students must have completed Primary B, Primary C, Middle School Ballet, or Level 1)
CHILDREN’S BALLET 4: For the 10 – 12 year old student with two or more years of ballet training.
(Princeton Ballet School Students must have completed Middle School Ballet, Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4)
