Pre-Trainee Program

The Pre-Trainee program is designed for advanced dancers ages 13-18 who aspire to join programs affiliated with professional companies, such as American Repertory Ballet. The program will include Ballet, Pointe, Character, Modern (first semester) Contemporary (second semester) and a new work workshop.

International Students: Princeton Ballet School’s Trainee Program is certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to enroll nonimmigrant students on F-1 visas

Schedule

9:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Mon-Fri) – Ballet

11:15 AM – 12:00 PM (Mon-Thurs) – Special class: Pointe, Character, Modern/Contemporary, New work

11:15 AM – 3:00 PM (Fri) – TBD depending on casting

Pay in Full:
$4,200 + $80 registration fee due at registration

Payment Plan:
$500 due at registration
$1,850 + $80 registration fee due 9/15/23
$1,850 due 10/15/23, 11/15/23, 1/15/24, 2/15/24

Pre-Trainees get an $800 scholarship for the Pre-Trainee 2023-2024 program if they register (and pay the deposit) for Summer Intensive 2023 and the Pre-Trainee 2023-2024 program by March 15. $800 scholarship is applied to the Pre-Trainee 2023-2024 program tuition (last payment if paying on the payment plan). This applies to all new and returning trainees.
