Access & Enrichment
ACCESS: Ballet
ACCESS: Ballet is a community initiative that provides opportunities to experience live performing arts for those who would normally not have the ability to do so, due to financial and/or other barriers.
The average cost of a ticket to see a ballet performed by the American Repertory Ballet is $40. While this cost is comparably inexpensive when looking at the cost of attending a performance in New York City or Philadelphia, it is still an unimaginable expense for many. In an effort to support ARB’s mission to bring the joy, beauty, artistry, and discipline of classical and contemporary dance to New Jersey and beyond, ARB is pleased to offer ACCESS: Ballet.
Through the support of individuals, foundations, and corporations whose beliefs align with those of ARB, a number of tickets are underwritten for shows presented by ARB to provide access to the live performing arts. Falling under the Access & Enrichment arm of ARB, this initiative not only offers access to those in need, but supports the building of a diverse community of patrons of the arts.
Do you represent a nonprofit, community organization, or other group that supports under-resourced communities, and would like to provide your members with tickets to the ballet? Please contact ARB’s Development Department at [email protected].
