Access & Enrichment

Programs

ARB’s Access & Enrichment programs are multifaceted engagement efforts, such as in-school residencies, community events, student matinee performances, and specially designed class offerings.

DANCE POWER

DANCE POWER was founded in 1986 as our flagship residency program in partnership with the New Brunswick Board of Education.

Dance for Parkinson’s

American Repertory Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s program is for people with Parkinson’s Disease and their caregivers. Each class has live music and creates a warm sanctuary for movement exploration, and a social atmosphere to support artistic venture.

School-Time Matinees

Our school-time matinees performed by our professional company have introduced thousands of students to the beauty and artistry of dance and live performance.

Classes for Differently-Abled Students

In 2018, PBS began offering a ballet class for differently-abled children and adults called “Audrey’s Class.” In 2025, ARB | PBS became an official NJ Dept. of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Vendor of Goods and Services so that qualifying students over 21 can have their classes be paid for directly by the DDD.
